I would like to suggest builder avoid installing covers with the tracks screwed in vertically into a cantilever coping. The screws come loose, the tracks become misaligned, and maintenance once the pool is full of water is very hard. It is well worth spending a little more money up front for the encapsulated tracks. I doubt that the encapsulations actually add any extra cost and they definately will cost home owners less in the long run.

Hello,
What a great group to have, i have installed many covers and they are so annoying at times, i have just installed a auto slatted type cover and having problems with high winds affecting the water level sensor. Happy to help with any questions people may have.

Any folks here work for coverstar or have an email address for them? I need to identify some replacement parts via photos I've taken for an order I have pending through my distributor. Thanks!

This is a great idea. I have a need to bounce ideas and get technical information on this from time to time. Wendy
