I am looking for a hand held drum grinder for resurfacing concrete. I have seen it advertised in the past but can not find the manufacturer.

Hi Jeremy.

I don't yet carry any spa paks or motors or wetends. There seem to be too many variables and the inventory would turn over too slowly to justify stocking those. I do carry a lot of parts for the pneumatic kind as well as heating elements, pressures switches, temperature sensors.

I carry a lot of gas heater parts. I carry most everything that it is cost effective to replace: ignitors, sensors, vacuum switches and tubing, pressure switches, highlimits, circuit boards, IID's, etc...

For automation relays and spa side switches are a must. Extra boards and indoor panels for Jandy come in handy in case I need a loaner while I send one in for repairs or if I want to reprogram something from outside.

Keeping them organized, labeled, and knowing what you paid for all these is key. I use Smart Lists To Go on my Palm Centro to keep track of inventory, including when I last purchased an item to track turn over and know when I should phase out an item.

Pool/hot tub mechanic parts.

Questions for the hot tub and pool mechanics here.

What type and quantity of parts do you carry on your truck so as to make the diagnosis and repairs in one trip to the equipment/hot tub pad?

do you carry spa paks, which type, how many?
do you carry spa pumps, motors, wetends, jets?
How about heaters, gas, electric, heatpumps?
Any automation or fiber optic light repair parts?
And how are you carrying them to keep them straight and protected while on the truck if the parts dont turn over in inventory fast enough?

Anyone here doing a flat rate program for repairs? How about installs to retrofits existing applications?

I find the flat rate program is awesome for the repair side. I've devised a modified method for installs on a large retrofit. For example when we're replacing the existing yellow dial timer and existing 1 speed pump, sand filter, rottened gas heater and tablet feeder with a variable speed pump, DE Warrior, a forced air heater, a salt chlorinator, and automation with wireless remote control.

How have you been successful with these repairs, sales, installs and retrofits?
