Bond Coating before a replaster

Greetings all,

I have a very new man on my plaster crew but I use him everywhere. Multi-talented, he ties steel, decent plumber and does magic tricks with a Bobcat, AND legit papers.

On to the topic.

He was lead man on a plaster crew and they ALWAYS on a replaster that was not a chip-out,after acid wash and neutralizing and pressure wash, mix a batch of modified thinset to about a milkshake consistency and rolled it on with a regular 3/8 knap roller, finished their…

Are you credible?

The prospect standing in front of you may genuinely not have ever heard of your store or the brands you carry which is why you need to establish right off the bat that you are a credible business with a history.

I recently tried to hire a moving company and was amazed by the difference in telephone presentations from the various companies I called. A few of them stood out with their poor presentations because they never established credibility.

I sent several…

Delayed relay

I'm looking for a timed delayed relay that can be activated after about 1 minute. This relay needs to be 220 volts and 40 amps. It's going into a Aqualink system.

Variable speed pump with X-10 controls

We installed a Eco-Star on a X-10 controlled system, After install, all X-10 went dead.  XPF noise reducers have not solved the problem.  Anyone had issues w/ X-10 & Variable speed?  Client is not interested (budgetary) in moving to a control system at this time.

Thanks.

Today there are three schools of thought... actually four if you consider the combination of the three as a separate strategy.

1)  Traditional SEO:  By "traditional" I refer to "on page" SEO.  This is modification to specific elements relative to your website that improve…

Gray Mottling Plaster Discoloration #5

This fifth article provides additional evidence that gray (or grey) mottling discoloration (which often takes several months to develop) is caused by improper plaster workmanship.

In 2003, the National Plasterers Council (NPC) commissioned the National Pool Industry Research Center (NPIRC) at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo to conduct research experiments on plaster degradation, discoloration, and other durability issues. The second…
