The other pools in my complex have CO2 to help regulate pH in addition to muriatic acid. My pools use only muriatic acid. The pools with CO2 do not require Sodium Bicarbonate and it has been explained to me that the CO2 that it helps maintain and raise Alkalinity. However from my research CO2 becomes carbonic acid in water affecting pH but has no affect on Alkalinity. Here's the current details.36000, gunite w attached spa.TH 225, TC 3, FC 3, pH 7.6, TA 100, cya 90Phosphates at least 1750 & minimal to no nitrates. Also, they have a Jandy (4 cartridge filter), and a 60000 gal aquapure cell which is at 80%.Last Wednesday I received a call that there was algae. Thursday, 7.5 gal liquid chlorine, brushed pool. Friday, vacuumed, cleaned filter & 0 FC reading so I added another 7.5 gallons chlorine. Monday FC 5, Tuesday FC 3. Going back today. The cell is functioning correctly and the salt levels are 3560.500 ppb phosphates in supply water. Friends company says I should add 30 gal of chlorine and then everything should be fine and once that chlorine is used the cell will be able to maintain proper chlorine levels again. I think I should get those phosphates down to below 300, preferably 100 which will be quite tedium given the filter type and the fill water. In past, I have removed phosphates down to 100 or less and the cell took over and was able to maintain the chlorine levels. Not sure what to do. I don't understand the reasoning behind my friends business approach for the system. I think that once all that chlorine is gone we will be back to square 1. Please help. Any and all info or methods will be greatly appreciated! For example, they have to replace the Polaris bags every month regardless of condition ( and its above the average retail price of $75). Every month they have a new part that has to be replaced in every pool regardless of condition. Last month it was pump baskets...every single pool. The month before it was backup valves, then before that wall fittings, then skimmer baskets, etc..

I'm not debating the ethics of these companies even though I find it morally repugnant and it gives the pool service business a bad name. The average monthly bill from these companies is usually from $500 to $800. This is the reason customers fire their service provider and do it themselves.

So my friend has a garage full of good used parts...he just thinks it's ludicrous to throw this stuff away and I agree. But he wants to get rid of this stuff and make some money. Other than Ebay or Craigslist does anyone have any ideas on how to market them. Since he got these parts for free (otherwise they would be in the dumpster)...he can sell them dirt cheap.

We're open to any creative ideas. I say "we" because he said he would give me 50% of what I helped him unload. Thanks! Pool parts aren't cheap. Next time you're in a retail store like Leslies Pool Supply check out the prices. It’s really an effective way to release the pressure from all aspects, and provide pleasure to all kinds of people ranging from thechildren to the older. We often combine spa to the pool—swim spa.

However, have you thought of putting a sauna to your pool area? Then you can benefit double, as sauna is also a very attractive way to keep fit and skin care nowadays. Actually, numbers of fans have done in this way:

“I have customers who use their saunas twice a day,” says Renee Gibbs, of Las Vegas-based Spas by Renee, a spa and sauna retail and construction company.

If you’re interested in expanding your options for pool area use in the fall, an outdoor sauna could be the perfect solution. With its thick, warm haze, fresh woodsy scent and escapist environment, a sauna is a leisurely place to unwind. For some, saunas are as invigorating as spas and as exhilarating as pools.

What’s more, sauna is now regarded as a great complement to other amenities.

“I just think a sauna would be a great addition to anyone’s backyard experience to enhance backyard activities,” Renee says.

In fact, time in the sauna can enhance your pool or spa experience. The structures are often placed so that a person can alternate between a cool swim and a hot sweat. The sauna also provides a place to dry off and warm up after a splash. Making the transition from sauna to pool is a sensation avid sauna fans describe as euphoric.

In order to improve the industry and professional products, we have a professional fair for anyone who have the need.
