I also have been in the industry for nearly 20 years. I have experience in most segments including retail management, district manager, division manager, service tech as well as manager, I have owned my own service company and I have been in the sales side of our industry. Currently the company I was with downsized and let a couple of us managers go (to reduce overhead). I would love to stay in this industry but it is looking bleak. With the mindset of the economy being poor, I see it as a huge opportunity, many companies are scaling back and are afraid. I am still hopeful to stay in our industry.
