Rex I would like to add a discussion on water efficiency. But I am not sure which category to place it under. I would like to suggest a new category covering water efficiency.

great website. forums are great and facilitate a great exchange of ideas.
I would like to add to the discussion categories. Water efficiency.
There is a section on energy efficiency, but water efficiency is high on the agenda in Australia, as we are currently experiencing drought conditions, which has affected pool sales in Australia

Also, helpful to understand what water basin you are in so that you know that although your area does not get rain there may be an area up from you in the water basin that is in drought causing drought restrictions in your area. Maybe I should blog on this? www.usgs.gov
Under Section: Science Areas go to Water, then at water by state choose state, next choose Real-time streamflow data. If i could find my way through site to get what I need anyone can.

Here is a helpful link. We have used these maps that are on our ncdrought.org website here in NC for the past year. http://www.drought.unl.edu/DM/ You can click on a region, then a state for the map. On the map page their are usually links to the individual states page which also shows the rules and guidlines during drought. Thanks! Wendy
