      Hi Dan -

This social media marketing is new to me - I forgot to check messages here - so sorry I didn't reply earlier. As for your splash-pad, it certainly reduces the risk of drowning greatly over a pool, doesn't it? The National Drowning Prevention Alliance is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization devoted to the prevention of drowning. We thrive on memberships and sponsorships. While the NDPA doesn't endorse one product over another, everyone is encouraged to join the NDPA as a member (only $50) or support the NDPA as a sponsor (starting at $500). We hold an annual conference, the National Drowning Prevention Symposium, where all of our sponsors receive a complimentary exhibit table. Perhaps this would be a good connection and venue for your to share your product with other drowning prevention advocates. All information about the NDPA, our Symposium, and Sponsorship can be found on our website at www.NDPA.org or call me directly at (951) 659-8600. ~Kristin

      Hi Dan,

I can make artwork tiles that would be suitable for your splash pads. I can form custom artistic images or photographs and then fire on an anti-slip coating for safety. Would you have a way to make the openings for the water? I suppose sandblasting might be the best way to avoid breakage?

Do you expect there would be a market for this?

Not to my knowledge. Are you looking to expand? There are an increasing number of splash parks run by local authorities that have similar ideas - which always seem very popular. Lots of the old paddling pool infrastructure in Britain is being replaced with more interactive equipment, and the government is putting quite a lot of investment into new play areas, so combining the two is an increasingly desirable option after outdoor pools took a hammering in the past thirty years. I think a company called Sun Safe P is the market leader in delivery of these over here, but don't quote me on that!
