Westside Pool Inc is sponsoring a Recreational Water Illness Sign design contest on WORTH1000.COM.As a commercial pool and spa maintenance company in Las Vegas we realize the importance of informing our pool patrons of the dangers of RWI’s. After the previous years outbreaks in Utah and AZ the consensus from health officials was that the best way to combat this problem was an informed public. But we could find no signs that 1) Informed the swimmer of the danger, 2) Advised them of the proper precautions to prevent the problem and 3) Warned them of the consequences of failing to heed the information.Last year we designed and distributed “MARCO POLO’S REVENGE”http://westsidepool.com/marcopolosrevenge.htmlThis year we thought we would elicit the talents of the artists that reside on the very popular photoshop design web site Worth1000 and sponsor a corporate contest for a new sign.
