So, you have a pool, and you brag about How you have the latest and GREATEST filtration system...but are you SURE that your have the clearest water out there? Would you like to find out?
Treatment Specialties/Link Automation, of Ramsey. NJ, is offering you the opportunity to send us your Pool sample, so that we can test it on our Particle Counter.
What's a Particle Counter? - Its simply the TRUTH when it comes to Filtration efficacy. Particle Counters live for one thing: to count and sort insoluble particulates in a liquid, and pretty much report how well your filter is at removing particles from your process.
All you have to do is send us (2) 16oz water samples from your pool; one sample should be taken one day AFTER a backwash or media replacement (for Vac DE, and Regeneratives), and The other should be taken JUST BEFORE you end your filter cycle.
Samples should be taken AFTER the filter, (controller flowcells are best - make sure you run the test stream for a minute before collecting the sample, and run a slow flow into the container). The following info should accompany your sample(s):
- Pool Name
- Pool Gallons
- Filter type (Sand, Vac DE, Regenerative DE, Cartridge)
- Filter Influent and Effluent pressures
- Flow rate (Actual and Design flow rates, please!)
- If you have the ability, an underwater picture of your pool, showing the lengthwise view of your pool from one end to the other (this visual view is to be used as a reference). Otherwise, your personal opinion of the ability to see the other end of the pool, graded by a scale of 1-10.
- Clearly mark your samples (START & END of Filter Cycle)
