Pool Construction Supervisor

We seem to be in a bubble here in Richland, WA, the economic slowdown has had little affect on us here.  We have been signing pool contracts for pool installations, yesterday alone we had 4 new pool customers in the store, it was 15 degrees so it was perfect weather for selling pools.

We are wanting to take our business to a new level, we want to build more pools this year than we have in the past years.  We feel that to do this we need to have an experienced pool construction supervisor, in the past we supervised the jobs ourselves but we are too busy to do a good job.  We are looking to hire someone that would like to move to our beautiful area where we have four seasons.  We have a lot of things to do around us, mountains for skiing and camping, rivers and lakes for skiing and fishing and much more.

If you know someone that has this experience but needs work please have them contact us.

  • Things are still pretty slow here in South Carolina, but very happy to hear that things are going well for you in Washington.  Maybe we need a few more days of snow to help drum up new business for my construction customers.
  • Bruce,

Like I said we seem to be in a bubble here, it is amazing that we have people coming in to buy pools in January when there is snow on the ground and it is cold.  I wanted to move down your way a few years ago to avoid the cold weather but I am glad that I didn't now.  This is the year that things are going to turn around, good things will start to happen soon for San Diego.

  • That is great news that you guys are that busy!  We are nearly dead on new construction work down here (San Diego), and remodel work is what is keeping most companies alive.  Companies that just a couple years ago would not even consider doing remodel work are now thankful for that, and anything else they can get.

I designed and Superintended for 10 years (I still build occasionally, but only for friends now).  The most pools I handled at one time was 35, back when we were really busy here.

I have to think that there are quite a few folks qualified to fill your slot, so you should be able to pick the best for you.  You might try advertising down this way, since it is so slow and there are many folks that would like to move out of California and might enjoy your seasons (that is way too cold for this CA Native!).

Good luck, and I wish you continued success and growth!
