Working on a Saturday.

The weather is not helping the pool industry in Boise, Idaho today. I just watched it rain cats and dogs, over-topping the rain gutters and filling the parking lot with an inch of water quite rapidly. Our customers are huddled inside their homes, their kids wearing water wings in anticipation of sunshine that will likely not come this weekend. That little break from being hunched over my computer revising a bid sure helped clear my head. I was beginning to get a bit grouchy about having to revisit this for literally the 15th time when the sound of the rain on the roof distracted me.Now I am much more relaxed. I only need an hour or so to get this done then I am off to a BBQ, albeit an indoor one if the weather continues. All that is left to do is decide if I am going to listen to Pavarotti or Tenacious D on the iPod.

  • Thanks Ray, all went well. The BBQ event went off without a hitch, even if it did rain.
  • hope all went good. In the south, BBQ is a noun, not a verb.
