  Hi Scott
  I would like to include you in my list of friend since we are both in the Boise, Idaho area. I am the owner of Pacific Pools and Construction. We are located both in Boise and in Utah but my main home is in Meridian. I appreciated your comments about Idaho and the VGB compliance. Idaho really seems to be struggling with it.

  Hey Scott-
  Saw your comment re costing program. We always advocate a customized process as it is difficult to conform to a template as every builder has different pricing parameters. It is surprising how many builders have not taken the time to properly identify their true costs - even for use in a manual pricebook. How do you gather your dimensional information? One of your past posts gave me what is now the office touchstone! "You know how to make a small fortune in the pool industry? Start with a large fortune." I guess it's an old joke but made me laugh - after 20+ years in the pool business, we've been there!! - Karen
