We want everyone to know that the team at National Swimming Pool Foundation is safe, and has been working offsite all week after being evacuated over the weekend. NSPF is operational. A few issues related to website and email are being resolved. If you had a problem getting online, that would be the cause.
Tom Lachocki, CEO of NSPF shares this note late Thursday:
Dear friends and colleagues,
Thank you for all the personal wishes so many folks have sent to me. Our Mayor announced today that 347 of our neighbors in Colorado Springs have lost their homes in these extraordinary fires. A few of our team members and their families have been impacted in big ways. We are so thankful to all those who have reached out to us to make sure we are OK.
The "Waldo Canyon Fire" danger remains north of us into the Air Force Academy and west to Woodland Park. The thousand firefighters who have chosen to leave their homes to save our homes. What an inspiration. A thousand firefighters sounds like a lot. Yet, maybe a thousand people will read this post. Imagine the force for good we could be.
God bless you all. Let's inspire others,

NSPF Headquarters & Operations
As most of you know, Colorado Springs experienced the huge Waldo Canyon Fire this past week. The NSPF Headquarters and all systems have been shifted to an alternate location so we can continue to effectively serve you. We are so thankful for all the firefighters who have chosen to leave their homes to try and save our homes. The NSPF Headquarters is ok, but remains in a mandatory evacuation zone since it is in the Mountain Shadows neighborhood that lost hundreds of homes. Also, two of our team members remain in an evacuation zone. It is not clear how long it will be before we get to move back to our Headquarters.
To make sure we effectively serve you, please take the following steps:
Thank you for the trust you place in us and in NSPF materials. We hope our response to this disaster did not negatively impact you in any way. But, to be safe, let's double check and make sure you are getting what you need from us.
