Do you have maintenance route people or do the repair techs do your cleanings? Also is your comp plan documented?
How was that book? I've been meaning to get a copy. Is it worth the price?
I paid my rookie tech almost 48K as an assistant. My pay structure was an hourly base + a percentage of the repair workorder. Yearlong training was just base no commissions. After 2nd year, commission increased every 6 mos based on performance review. Uniforms, several meals a week, paid trainings out of town, trade shows, and paid vacation at the international show. Business needs great employees, great employees are compensated for their efforts & responsibilities to make the business great. I'm looking for another assistant tech now.
