Looking for an opinion on the best cordless cleaner.
Has to be cordless as the pool is equipped with an automatic cover and not a way to run a corded cleaner.

All pool plaster finishes should last 20 years or more. However, some last only 5 to 7 years, and some less than a year before the plaster surface deteriorates, discolors, and looks terrible.

Yep, cordless cleaners are the best. Here's an expert review on it.

That link is household vacuum cleaners not pool cleaners.
Anyway, I got a little more information from my supply house and I'm told some manufacturers tried and failed to produce cordless robotic pool cleaners. Corded types are more reliable. My case, the pool has an automatic cover and there is no way to set up corded type.
I've never been crazy about any electric cleaner. We install pressure side Polaris cleaners for more than 32 years that have been super reliable and do the job. There's a chance I could outfit this pool with one but it could be a little tricky to do so.
