It is funny that you should say that but we have tried recruiting some people from technical training schools and believe it or not we have not had much success. I think this is for two reasons. One many of our positions are seasonal which we require an employee to get laid off over the winter and I think that many people are looking for the year round consitent job. The second and what i think is the biggest obstacle for us and many other pool companies is that there is a stigma around the pool industry and i feel that people are hesitant to try to make a career in the pool industry. Where are you from James? Have you noticed similar problems when trying to hire ?

This is just a thought, but have you inquired at the local trade schools or tech schools to see if there are any students that would intern at your establishment? Your company has a very prestigious reputation you would think some of the students would want experience with your company on their resume.
