Anybody out there have any suggestions?
Looking for a computerized program that sets and tracks service route visits (2 service trucks/techs - cleaning and maintaining pools and salt gen pools) as well as Tech Ticket jobs (6 techs that drive around and fix things - fix pump, sand change, light pull, etc... "come fix it" tickets)
Ideally, would like it to track jobs and service calls for the day, have the tech perhaps send an "i'm done" message via blackberry after each is completed - the office would get that message and then, when customers call our office to ask when the tech will be there, the receptionist can view it on the shared schedule and let them know an answer without having to track everyone down by phone
there has to be something out there that does this - similar to what i have seen the local cable company (Comcast) techs use - they have a phone/computer system type thing on their belt with a touch screen - it allows them to see their jobs for the day and to check off each time they finish so their office can answer customers questions - the tech also gets up in the morning and can view the list of jobs for the day as the home office enters the tickets for the day
Anyone have any experience with something similar to this?
