Has anyone any knowledge of this inovative idea, it would seem via a venturi system to double the through put of the skimmer and having the venturi exit under the skimmer may also be a plus for the circulation without main drain concept.

Hi Norman, we prefer clockwise in the northern hemisphere! to get the turnover rates it is usually necessary to have more than one skimmer especially as some skimmers max flow is 5m3/hour. Thanks for the feedback, I noticed despite the claim of doubling the skimmer flow they only use 2" pipe connections so fundamentally floored I would say. On another note a well known french pool company put in 3 skimmers to help the turnover (4 would really have been needed) but then connected up the 3 skimmers to one pipe! sadly too late now as it's under the concrete surround.

John,
In all my jobs I put 2 skimmers in sometimes more as a rule 2 to each filter for example a 25 x 9m pool I put in 6 and 12 returns 3 from each filter and in each corner to rotate the water in a wirl pool effect and here in the southern hemisphere the water spins clockwise, northern I think anti clockwise.(So fill a hand basin and pull the plug to see what way it spins.) and let me know.
The skimmers as a rule in the marketplace are not good that is why I designed what is considered the best one down under.
Yes 3 skimmers and 1 pipe its common and it makes it hard to run a pool cleaner the worst thing that can happen is a pipe to break and you are out of action where with individual pipes to both returns and skimmers a problem can be shut off.

I SAT DOWN AND STUDIED ALL THE SKIMMERS WORLD WIDE ABOUT 9 YEARS AGO AND FOUND THAT AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND HAD THE BEST RANGE OF SKIMMERS SO I REDESIGNED AND HAD MADE WHAT IS NOW THE MOST POPULAR SKIMMER BY POOLSTORE.
I LOOKED AT THE VENTURI IDEA BUT FOUND THAT YOU ENDED UP WITH A WIRLPOOL AND SUCKING AIR SO IT WASN`T A GOOD IDEA.
THE REAL ANSWER I BELEIVE IS TO INSTALL 2 SKIMMERS IN A POOL IN SAY OPPOSITE CORNERS AND THE RETURNS IN SUCH A POSITION THAT IT ROTATES THE VOLUME OF WATER ANTI CLOCKWISE WHICH PUSHES THE LEAVES ECT INTO THE SKIMMERS INSTEAD OF PASSING THEM. SEPERATE PIPES FROM EACH SKIMER AND 2 VALVES TO CONTROL THE WATER FLOW AND THAT WAY YOU CAN GET A POOL CLEANER TO WORK FROM ONE WHILST SKIMMING WITH THE OTHER.
