Hi,
Recently I have experienced what appears to be white sand in some of the salt pools I look after. It is dense like sand. This year is the first time I have had an issue. I thought maybe construction near by but there doesn't appear to be any in close proxcimity , I also thought maybe dead algae or calcium but it does not look like it and also the amount. The pools are well balanced with cartridge filters. Initially in the pool it looks like de but is more gritty like sand. Any ideas?

Hi Rex,
Thanks for your reply. The filter is a cartridge and so eliminates sand filter issues.
Given the amount maybe 2 pounds collected in a small pool and very quickly not sure the anti-caking agent would cause what is see in such a short time. The sand is very white and is on several salt pools, all recently and not something I have had issues with in the past. Any further thoughts would be very welcome.

Jon
