There isn't any new national swimming pool financing that I am aware of but still probing. In Arizona, Mutual of Omaha Bank has a swimming pool loan program that has a 20 year term, 50% add back of the cost of the pool to the value of the home when calculating their 90% loan to value requirement, with note rates starting at 6.75%. There are still about 2 or 3 lenders considering the self insured program I have been proposing since June of ’08.

Tom Epple, Dave Dent and I started Alpha 3, we manufacturer steel pools, braces a composite pool (non coorosive but builds like steel) steps and also some agricultural and heavy truck business
