CAT 2000 controllers versus HCC 2000 controllers

From what I have been able to research, the original CAT 2000 controllers were purchased by Hayward and the units are supposed to be the same. Has anyone used the HCC version and is it comparable to the CAT 2000?

The HCC200 is a version of the CAT 2000 Controller that is to be sold through distribution. The HCC2000 has a 1 year warranty with 1 year warranty sensors versus the CAT 5 year warranty and 2 year warranty sensors. The HCC2000 also comes on a smaller backboard with a molded flow cell versus the CAT machined acrylic flow cell... There are few other minor differences, but for the most part they are the same units.... If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at 301-838-4001

Have you been using the HCC 2000 for long and at your time of purchase, was the warranty the same as the CAT?
