Pictures of your service vehicles.

Hi id be interested in seeing some pictures of your service vehicles and hearing the good and bad about them. I have always used toyota's and never had any trouble with them the only time its been in the shop is when Toyota did the accelerator pedal recall other than that its run like a champ. Show us yours!!

    I think I've told you before, but I love the trailer.  I'd feel pretty good as a home owner with your equipment showing up at my home. Of course, with the price you charge for reverse osmosis, I'd be happy if you pulled up in just about anything!

  • We haul ours every day, but it houses a 40,000 gpd Reverse Osmosis filtration system.  Hard to do the work without the trailer!

     

    We did not do a wrap, but we did do a high quality decal (the guy that did our trailer also does some of the NASCAR cars).  We hit 100+ here in the summer, and it has held up just fine.  Ran us about $1,200.00 to do the trailer, if that helps.

  • You guys have got some fancy looking trailers, do you pull the trailers when your just doing regular service work or are they just for jobs that need allot of equipment? As for my Tundra its getting about 14 to the gallon around town and im half way through my second set of tires at 52k miles in 3 years. I was thinking of getting a wrap done on it but they are pretty pricey and wasn't sure how it would fare in the 120" heat of the Vegas summers.

    Very good idea, i always like to see different vehicles and how they are used.  Since your picture was no nice with the background setting, i figured i would add a few of my own.  We have a fleet of 17 vehicles, soon to be 18.  Being in Cleveland i only keep about 5 guys on throughout the winter due to the reduced workload so the rest of our vehicles get parked outside so we have more room in our warehouse.  My only concern every year is that the snow melts before i need to use the trucks :) 

    Personally for this area and our primary focus on service, I prefer the vans for my main technicians.  It allows for better storage and organization of parts and tools, plus it keeps everything cleaner and safer since it can all be locked up.  The guys also like them more so we tend to stay with those, rotating them in and out every 5 years or so with new ones.  I do have 4 Rangers that will be used for weekly service routes and that our lifeguard department uses to go out to the different pools we staff.  I like these because they are typically driven by younger employees and are easier to drive than a larger truck.  We also have a GMC Sierra that we use for our larger renovations and repairs, and also to plow our lot in the winter.

  • i love the truck i accually have the exact same one execpt mines an sr5 not the trd edition i love the only problem i have though is it loves to eat tires om on my 3 set going on fourth with currently 40094 miles i will be glad to get a new one when the lease is up. Other than that i have not had one problem with it. As far as the accelarator pedal recall thats not such a big deal to me toyota can and will fix the problem so i will buy another one. As far as capacity i love i have all my chemicals, and equiptment in the back and i can still fit a heater and filter in without removing anything. Got to love that. I will post a pic in the morning.
