Is anyone using reverse osmosis to lower the TDS or CyA levels of pool water? If so, do you have a portable filtration system that you can rent out to a customer?

Thanks for the kind words, Scott!
Expensive? All relevant, yes?! Do we have a large amount invested? Yes, and no. We believe in what we do, so the investment, especially for a new business (with no competition!) was much less than any franchise, for example. We have plans of having 5 of these rigs on the road locally, with many more in the Country (we can custom build them for others as well).
The average pool (here, around 18,000 gallons) runs $375.00, about the same cost as a drain and refill. However, we remove everything you could want out of the water and save up to 85% of the existing water. We have not lost a single job we've bid at this point, so it has been extremely well received. Our biggest "problem" is getting the word out. Once we accomplish that, I think we will be very busy!
Thank you again for the kind words, and welcome to the 'page! Merry Christmas!
Thanks for posting the link!!
Unbelievable!!! Bruce, not asking for you to reveal your your business model but were the setup costs expensive? What do you typically charge the homeowner and how has business been for you in the California market? What a brilliant idea!!
