Hey everyone,

I talked with our local "Valpack" representative today. Valpack is one of those coupon mailing packets you get in the mail every one in a while. Has anyone advertised with this method before and seen success? They are charging $300 per 10,000 homes here. I get six different demographic regions to choose from in our area too, kinda nice. Thought I'd ask for opinions...

Thanks!!
Loren

  • Thanks for your input guys... I did a little flow chart the other night and decided I "might" get 2-5 calls per 10,000 addresses. I'll stick for other forms of advertising. Cheers!
  • I think it would depend on how many of those 10,000 homes have pools. Here in my part of California with about one in five homes having a pool I would put my money into some other type of advertising. I'd be interested to find out what kind of results others are getting using this type of advertising.

By "homes" they mean addresses. They normally include a lot of apartments and condos and lots of houses that don't have pools.

I did a ValuPak type mailing years ago and got nothing. I did much better by taking a booth at a local home show.
I also offered discounts to my service customers for referrals.
