  • haha. Right on Rex. You stole my thunder! LOL
  • I too have given this idea some thought. I carry a 50 feet long 2 inch in diameter flexible vacuum hose on the van. I use the hose to sump pump out hot tubs when servicing them. Its big and awkward even in a tight coil. I keep tied up w/ 3 short pieces of romex, then hang it from the side of my cargo partition wall up off the floor of the van. A reel would be great. A flexible fire hose might be a little better instead of my big vac hose, but I struggled to find quick connectors to the sump pump for those hoses.

I am curious if anyone has come up with an easy and affordable solution.

  • What size hose are we talking about? Ridgid or flat? Is this a pump hose with metallic couplers at the ends? How long?
Reels come designed for many applications that with just a little modification could be made to work nicely.
  • Just using it to drain customers pools. I hope they make a reel for this thing

I would fold the drain hose up when I was doing maitenance....is there a reason you cannot hard plumb the line?
