Loans for swimming pools....Who offers them?

I'm looking to the experts here to see where you might recommend finance companies that are offering loans for swimming pool construction for the home owner. I know most people have a bank that they use to get home equity loans etc, but I also know there are companies out there that offer these types of loans.We are located in Maine & NH and would appreciate any 'leads' for homeowner loans.     I have had one customer get a loan from a credit union since the start of 2009. All others have been turned down. Withbankds such as Wachovia, youneed a 680 credit score, and 20% equity in your home. The equity is the deal breaker as people are buying these Florida homes for a song.

    I did find out that the check will not be cut until the pool is completely installed and picture sent to them. I wonder if our suppliers will work with us on this deal?

    The only financing I have been able to find is through my local bank for a home equity or home improvement loan and you need credit score above 650 ( I think that's what it is). Everyone else has stopped.

    Pool Corp (Superior Pool Products, SCP, National Pool Tile...) offers financing for clients.
