" I have used 4 different swimming pool "drawing" programs, and I can easily say that PoolDraw is the most professional CAD type software on the market, specifically geared towards our industry. With VGB being such a forefront issue in the industry, and local health and building departments wanting more and more details, PoolDraw has given the capability to deliver professional plans, and set a standard in our market for design.
Thanks PoolDraw! Also - best support ever. "

I have used PoolDraw since 1996.
I couldn't be happier with the program and support from the program creators in Florida. I forced myself to learn computer aided design to speed up and simplify the constant redrawing of pool plans. Instead of going back to the office for hours of redraw to “move the spa over there" or "flip the pool" or "my brother in law said ...." I now encourage the changing with simple clicks to add, delete, flip, invert and show.
I use PoolDraw extensively for remodel sales as well as new construction. With the 3D addition, the added features, especially waterfalls and sheers, became a very easy "sell" as part of the job. Letting the home owner point at the screen and tell me exactly what they want gives them a much greater feeling of involvement. Most "old school" sales did not include the property owner nearly enough in the design process. When they design it with you, they own it! By the way, if it is a difficult sale I let the home owner price it on my laptop.
City building departments and the EHS offices like the plans that are computer generated.
I have used it on gunite, vinyl and fiberglass pools.
A friend of mine sells above ground pools and I have used it to work with him as well.
I may think in a different fashion from most pool sales people but I decided to own a program rather than rent one.
After 25+ years in the swimming pool business, drawing with computers has been one of my best time saving, money making decisions.

I have been using PoolDraw since 1995 (it was on floppy at that time). I have tried the other programs, but Pool draw allows me to do a really nice color drawing in about 25 minutes. I also use the 3D add on for some really nice presentations. This, I find is great for clients who can't visualize the finished project. It really helps me sell the sizzle. I wouldn't use anything else.

Sorry it has taken awhile for me to respond to you regarding your pool draw program inquiry. I would strongly recommend pool draw. I have tried other programs that may have fancier 3d features but in truth they are not even close to the quality and the many real applications that pool draw can offer. I believe that due to its vector graphics it is capable of inporting items that are drawn in illistrator which makes it nice to do some artistic things, but that is really not necessary. PoolDraw has met or exceeded all of my expectations, and Karen is WONDERFUL to work wth, great product, super great people backing you up!

PoolDraw is a terrific program, easy to use and learn and very affordable. I've been using pooldraw for 3 weeks and have done 6 drawings so far. They are taking me about 80% less time than hand drawings and I've been approved each time by the permit offices without any issues. Each drawing is easier than the previous because I can save components and re-use without having to always start from scratch. Thanks, Karen!

I have been using the software for around 10 years now. My customers are impressed with my presentations and drawings. I do all my word processing with the software. Thanks Karen!
